Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Algoma Wolves (Algoma, WI) and the host Shawano Community Hawks (Shawano, WI), witnessed Algoma's softball squad tip Shawano Community by a count of 5-4.
The Wolves now sport a 14-3 record. They play next when they host Sevastopol for a Packerland match on Tuesday, May 7.
With the loss, Shawano Community moves to 9-9 on the season. The Hawks travel to Denmark (Denmark, WI) to meet the Vikings in a non-league match on Saturday, May 4. The Vikings go into the match with a record of 12-5.
