The St. Louis Sharks routed the host Alma Panthers softball squad by a final score of 9-3 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Sharks (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Millington (Millington, MI). The Cardinals go into the Tri-Valley - West I battle with a 10-1 record. In their last battle, Millington was routed by Escanaba (Escanaba, MI), 9-2, in a non-league battle.
The Panthers now possess a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Frankenmuth for a Tri-Valley - East battle on Tuesday, May 7. Alma will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Elk Rapids (Elk Rapids, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 15-1.
