Naperville North Huskies (Naperville, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Batavia Bulldogs (Batavia, IL), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 10-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Naperville Central for a DuPage Valley challenge on Monday, May 6. Naperville North will battle a Redhawks squad coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to Benet Academy (Lisle, IL). The Redhawks record now stands at 14-12.

With the loss, Batavia falls to 2-17 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL) to battle the Falcons in a DuKane challenge on Monday, May 6. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 17-5. Wheaton North won 9-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Hinsdale South (Darien, IL)
