The Belvidere North Blue Thunder softball team (Belvidere, IL), was routed 6-2 in Saturday's non-league test with the host Hampshire Whip-Purs (Hampshire, IL)

Coming up next, the Whip-Purs clash with the Dundee-Crown Chargers (Carpentersville, IL) in a Fox Valley test, on Monday, May 6. Hampshire will attempt to improve on its 14-10 season record. The Chargers come into the test with a 14-13 record after their 11-2 non-league win over Harvard (Harvard, IL).

The Blue Thunder (12-9) will now prepare for their test against Harlem (Machesney Park, IL). The Huskies come into the Northern Illinois NIC-9 test with a 11-5 record. In their last test, Harlem edged Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL), 11-0, in a league test.
