The Bishop Kearney Kings routed the visiting New Hartford Spartans softball squad by a final score of 12-2 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Kings (10-1) will now prepare for their battle against Auburn (Auburn, NY). The Maroons go into the non-league battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Auburn notched a victory over Fayetteville-Manlius (Manlius, NY), 7-3, in a non-league battle.
The Spartans now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Nichols for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 4. New Hartford will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 6-2 league loss to Sacred Heart Academy (Buffalo, NY). The Vikings record now stands at 2-4.
