The Blaine Bengals (Blaine, MN) softball routed the visiting Kennedy Eagles (Bloomington, MN), 11-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Bengals (10-4) will now prepare for their bout against Wayzata (Plymouth, MN). The Trojans go into the non-league bout with a 6-5 record. In their last bout, Wayzata was routed by Edina (Edina, MN), 7-1, in a league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Academy of Holy Angels for a non-league bout on Monday, May 6. Kennedy will confront a Stars squad coming off a 16-5 non-league win over Kennedy (Bloomington, MN). The Stars record now stands at 8-1.
