Brown County Eagles (Nashville, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting New Washington Mustangs (New Washington, IN), 16-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they host Greencastle for a Western Indiana challenge on Tuesday, May 7. Brown County will face a Tiger Cubs squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Terre Haute North Vigo (Terre Haute, IN). The Tiger Cubs record now stands at 9-6.

With the loss, New Washington falls to 6-11 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Scottsburg (Scottsburg, IN) to face the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 7. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 11-5.
