Butler County Bears (Morgantown, KY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Central Hardin Bruins (Cecilia, KY), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bears now sport a 6-17 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lyon County for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 4. Butler County will face a Lyons squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Larue County (Hodgenville, KY). The Lyons record now stands at 13-13.

With the loss, Central Hardin falls to 17-9 on the campaign. The Bruins host Trigg County (Cadiz, KY) to face the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 4. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 13-10. Trigg County won 4-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Apollo (Owensboro, KY)
