Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL) and the visiting Central Rockets (Burlington, IL), witnessed Hononegah's softball squad tip Central by a count of 15-10.

The Indians now sport a 20-1 record. They play next when they travel to Freeport for a Northern Illinois NIC-9 match on Monday, May 6. Hononegah will face a Pretzels squad coming off a 16-6 league win over Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL). The Pretzels record now stands at 14-6.

With the loss, Central moves to 14-15 on the season. The Rockets host Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL) to face the Wolves in a Fox Valley match on Monday, May 6. The Wolves go into the match with a record of 18-3. Prairie Ridge won 8-5 in their recent league match against Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL)
