Champlin Park Rebels (Champlin, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Two Rivers Warriors (Mendota Heights, MN), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Rebels now own a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maple Grove for a Northwest Suburban challenge on Tuesday, May 7. Champlin Park will face a Crimson squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Robbinsdale Armstrong (Plymouth, MN). The Crimson record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Two Rivers falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Simley (Inver Grove Heights, MN) to face the Spartans in a Classic Suburban challenge on Monday, May 6. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 9-6. Simley won 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Hill-Murray (Maplewood, MN)
