Marshall Cardinals (Marshall, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Chilton Tigers (Chilton, WI), 12-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Cardinals now own a 15-4 record. They take the field next when they host Belleville for a Capitol - South challenge on Tuesday, May 7.

With the loss, Chilton falls to 8-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Kiel (Kiel, WI) to face the Raiders in a Eastern Wisconsin challenge on Monday, May 6.
