The Christian Brothers Academy Brothers softball team (Syracuse, NY), was routed 8-2 in Saturday's non-league test with the host Marcellus Mustangs (Marcellus, NY)

Coming up next, the Mustangs encounter the Skaneateles Lakers (Skaneateles, NY) in a Section 3 Liberty 2 test, on Tuesday, May 7. Marcellus will attempt to improve on its 10-2 season record. The Lakers enter the test with a 5-7 record after their 16-1 league win over Phoenix (Phoenix, NY).

The Brothers (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Cortland (Cortland, NY). The Purple Tigers enter the non-league test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Cortland was routed by Solvay (Solvay, NY), 6-2, in a non-league test.
