Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Crab Orchard Trojans (Marion, IL) and the host Tuscola Warriors (Tuscola, IL), witnessed Crab Orchard's softball squad tip Tuscola by a count of 10-5.

The Trojans now sport a 18-8 record. They play next when they travel to Hardin County for a Greater Egyptian match on Tuesday, May 7. Crab Orchard will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Norris City-Omaha-Enfield (Norris City, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, Tuscola moves to 9-14 on the season. The Warriors host St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL) to meet the Spartans in a non-league match on Monday, May 6. The Spartans go into the match with a record of 24-6. St. Joseph-Ogden won 8-5 in their recent non-league match against Marshall (Marshall, IL)
