The Millington Cardinals softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Kingsford Flivvers to 0 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Millington moves its record to 11-2 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Negaunee (Negaunee, MI) to clash with the Miners in a non-league game on Saturday, May 4. The Miners come into the game with a record of 10-0. Negaunee won 22-12 in their recent non-league game against Marquette (Marquette, MI)

In their next game, the Flivvers clash with the Gladstone Braves (Gladstone, MI) in a Great Northern U.P. game, on Monday, May 6. Kingsford will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record.
