Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Queensbury Spartans (Queensbury, NY) and the host Lake George Lakers (Lake George, NY), witnessed Queensbury's softball squad prevail over Lake George by a count of 18-6.

The Spartans now sport a 9-10 record. They play next when they host South Glens Falls for a Section 2 Foothills match on Monday, May 6. Queensbury will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 22-5 league win over Johnstown (Johnstown, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-3.

With the loss, Lake George moves to 4-6 on the season. The Lakers travel to Saratoga Central Catholic (Saratoga Springs, NY) to meet the Saints in a non-league match on Tuesday, May 7. The Saints go into the match with a record of 10-7. Saratoga Central Catholic lost 9-5 in their recent non-league match against Cobleskill-Richmondville (Cobleskill, NY)
