The Oak Forest Bengals the host Providence Catholic Celtics softball squad by a count of 4-0 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Bengals (20-4) will now prepare for their battle against Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL). The Red Wolves go into the South Suburban - Blue battle with a 7-14 record. In their last battle, Thornton Fractional South nudged Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL), 15-1, in a league battle.

The Celtics now sport a 16-6 record. They play next when they host Joliet Catholic for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 7. Providence Catholic will meet a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Coal City (Coal City, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 16-8.
