The Spring Lake Park Panthers (Spring Lake Park, MN) softball the host Orono Spartans (Long Lake, MN), 6-4 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Panthers (8-5) will now prepare for their bout against Anoka (Anoka, MN). The Tornadoes go into the Northwest Suburban bout with a 8-6 record. In their last bout, Anoka by Brainerd (Brainerd, MN), 5-4, in a non-league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 2-10 record. They play next when they host Jefferson for a non-league bout on Monday, May 6. Orono will confront a Jaguars squad coming off a 4-1 league win over Chaska (Chaska, MN). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-4.
