The Gilboa-Conesville Central Wildcats baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Middleburgh Knights to 7 in the Wildcats non-league win on Monday.

The Wildcats now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Kortright Central for a Section 4 Delaware County - Delaware Mountain test on Friday, May 8. Gilboa-Conesville Central will play a Rams team coming off a 11-8 non-league win over Morris Central (Morris, NY). The Rams record now stands at 7-3.

With the defeat, Middleburgh drops to 4-8 on the year. The Knights travel to Galway (Galway, NY) to play the Golden Eagles in a Section 2 Western - White test on Wednesday, May 6. The Golden Eagles go into the test with a record of 2-11. Galway lost 16-6 in their recent non-league test against Berne-Knox-Westerlo (Berne, NY)
