The South Central Rebels softball team scored 21 runs and held the host Scottsburg Warriors and Warriorettes to 0 in the Rebels non-league win on Monday.

The Rebels now possess a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Washington for a Southern battle on Thursday, May 7. South Central will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 16-1 non-league loss to Charlestown (Charlestown, IN). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-7.

With the loss, Scottsburg moves to 0-12 on the season. The Warriors and warriorettes host Brownstown Central (Brownstown, IN) to confront the Braves in a Mid-Southern battle on Tuesday, May 5. The Braves come into the battle with a record of 11-5. Brownstown Central lost 9-4 in their recent non-league battle against Indian Creek (Trafalgar, IN)
