The West Springfield Terriers baseball team scored 4 runs and limited the visiting Central Golden Eagles to 3 in the Terriers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Terriers (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Tantasqua Regional (Fiskdale, MA). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 10-0 record. In their last challenge, Tantasqua Regional nipped Millbury (Millbury, MA), 6-2, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, Central falls to 6-4 on the season. The Golden eagles host Taconic (Pittsfield, MA) to battle the Braves in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 7. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 9-1. Taconic won 9-0 in their recent league challenge against Monument Mountain (Great Barrington, MA)
