The Framingham Flyers baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Weymouth Wildcats to 6 in the Flyers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Flyers (6-4) will now prepare for their match against Acton-Boxborough (Acton, MA). The Colonials go into the non-league match with a 2-9 record. In their last match, Acton-Boxborough was overwhelmed by Bedford (Bedford, MA), 5-4, in a league match.
The Wildcats (3-9) will now prepare for their match against Catholic Memorial (West Roxbury, MA). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 7-4 record. In their last match, Catholic Memorial gained a win over Xaverian Brothers (Westwood, MA), 7-5, in a league match.
