California High School Volleyball - Vista del Lago over El Capitan

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Vista del Lago Eagles (Folsom, CA) and the visiting El Capitan Gauchos (Merced, CA), saw Vista del Lago's volleyball squad beat El Capitan by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Vista del Lago upgrades its record to 22-7 on the year. The Eagles travel to Merced (Merced, CA) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Tuesday, May 10. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 25-4. Merced won 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Antelope (Antelope, CA)

The Gauchos now own a 17-8 record.
