The Marvin Ridge Mavericks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Lake Pointe Academy Mariners to 0 in the Mavericks non-league victory on Thursday.

The Mavericks now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arborbrook Christian Academy for a game on Monday, May 9.

The Mariners (7-5) will now prepare for their game against Union Academy (Monroe, NC). The Cardinals enter the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Union Academy was dropped by Lake Pointe Academy (York, SC), 3-2, in a non-league game.
