Ohio High School Lacrosse - Mentor drops to Canfield

Canfield Cardinals (Canfield, OH) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Mentor Cardinals (Mentor, OH), 12-2 in a non-league battle.

The Cardinals now have a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hudson for a non-league battle on Monday, May 9. Canfield will clash with a Explorers squad coming off a 18-10 non-league win over Eastern (Louisville, KY). The Explorers record now stands at 11-3.

In their next game, the Cardinals play the Olmsted Falls Bulldogs (Olmsted Falls, OH) in a Region 5 match, on Saturday, May 7. Mentor will attempt to better on its 4-13 season record. The Bulldogs go into the match with a 2-10 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Beaumont School (Cleveland Heights, OH).
