In Thursday's league test, the visiting Westford Academy Grey Ghosts lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-4 victory over the Newton South Lions.

The Grey Ghosts now have a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln-Sudbury for a Dual County test on Tuesday, May 10. Westford Academy will face a Warriors squad coming off a 14-6 non-league win over Duxbury (Duxbury, MA). The Warriors record now stands at 8-2.

In their next game, the Lions face the Wayland Warriors (Wayland, MA) in a Dual County test, on Monday, May 9. Newton South will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 5-6 record after their 10-3 non-league win over Holliston (Holliston, MA).
