The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Valley Central Vikings (Montgomery, NY) and the visiting Pine Bush Bushmen (Pine Bush, NY), saw Valley Central's lacrosse team overcome Pine Bush by a margin of 14-7.

The Vikings (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY). The Warriors enter the Section 9 Division II challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Minisink Valley edged Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY), 13-9, in a league challenge.

The Bushmen (2-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Saugerties (Saugerties, NY). The Sawyers enter the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Saugerties edged Peekskill (Peekskill, NY), 14-4, in a non-league challenge.
