California High School Softball - Fountain Valley bounces Barstow

Fountain Valley Barons (Fountain Valley, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Barstow Aztecs (Barstow, CA), 11-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Barons now own a 21-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rio Hondo Prep for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 10. Fountain Valley will battle a Kares squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over La Quinta (Westminster, CA). The Kares record now stands at 19-5.

With the loss, Barstow falls to 17-6 on the campaign.
