California High School Softball - Segerstrom bounces Bishop Amat

The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Segerstrom Jaguars (Santa Ana, CA) and the visiting Bishop Amat Lancers (La Puente, CA), saw Segerstrom's softball squad nip Bishop Amat by a count of 8-1.

The Jaguars now sport a 22-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Hills for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 10. Segerstrom will face a Huskies squad coming off a 10-1 non-league win over West Ranch (Valencia, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 23-3.

With the loss, Bishop Amat falls to 14-11 on the campaign.
