Center Grove Trojans (Greenwood, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Westfield Shamrocks (Westfield, IN), 11-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Noblesville for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 7. Center Grove will battle a Millers squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Mt. Vernon (Fortville, IN). The Millers record now stands at 9-8.

With the loss, Westfield falls to 13-5 on the campaign. The Shamrocks travel to Tri-West Hendricks (Lizton, IN) to battle the Bruins in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 6. The Bruins enter the challenge with a record of 17-1. Tri-West Hendricks won 15-5 in their recent league challenge against Frankfort (Frankfort, IN)
