The Otsego Knights softball team scored 2 runs and limited the visiting Defiance Bulldogs to 0 in the Knights non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Otsego moves its record to 8-0 on the year. The Knights travel to Woodmore (Elmore, OH) to play the Wildcats in a Northern Buckeye game on Saturday, May 7. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 5-12. Woodmore won 15-7 in their recent league game against Fostoria (Fostoria, OH)

In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Wapakoneta Redskins (Wapakoneta, OH) in a Western Buckeye game, on Friday, May 6. Defiance will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Redskins come into the test with a 7-2 record after their 14-2 non-league win over Coldwater (Coldwater, OH).
