The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the East Knox Bulldogs (Howard, OH) and the host Loudonville Redbirds (Loudonville, OH), saw East Knox's softball squad nip Loudonville by a count of 4-3.

The Bulldogs now sport a 10-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northmor for a Knox Morrow Athletic match on Saturday, May 7. East Knox will face a Golden Knights squad coming off a 13-8 non-league win over Crestline (Crestline, OH). The Golden Knights record now stands at 9-12.

With the loss, Loudonville moves to 5-5 on the season. The Redbirds host Wooster (Wooster, OH) to meet the Generals in a non-league battle on Friday, May 6. The Generals go into the battle with a record of 2-5. Wooster lost 9-2 in their recent league battle against Ashland (Ashland, OH)
