In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Adirondack Wildcats baseball team scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Holland Patent Golden Knights.
The Wildcats (5-4) will now prepare for their game against Carthage (Carthage, NY). The Comets go into the non-league game with a 6-6 record. In their last game, Carthage tipped Watertown (Watertown, NY), 4-0, in a league game.
The Golden Knights (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Whitesboro (Marcy, NY). The Warriors go into the Section 3 Tri-Valley game with a 10-3 record. In their last game, Whitesboro tipped Oneida (Oneida, NY), 15-4, in a league game.
