Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Milford Bearcats (Milford, IL) and the visiting Armstrong Trojans (Armstrong, IL), saw Milford's baseball squad knock off Armstrong by a count of 7-3.

Coming up next, the Bearcats play the Watseka Warriors (Watseka, IL) in a Vermilion Valley battle, on Monday, May 8. Milford will attempt to move on its 11-10 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 3-17 record after their 8-7 non-league loss to LeRoy (LeRoy, IL).
