The Breckenridge Huskies baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Ashley Bears to 2 in the Huskies league victory on Friday.
The Huskies (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Sacred Heart Academy (Mt. Pleasant, MI). The Irish go into the Mid-State match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Sacred Heart Academy edged Merrill (Merrill, MI), 7-4, in a league match.
The Bears (0-4) will now prepare for their match against Webberville (Webberville, MI). The Spartans go into the non-league match with a 3-8 record. In their last match, Webberville was overwhelmed by Stockbridge (Stockbridge, MI), 10-7, in a league match.
