The Chapmanville Regional Tigers baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting George Washington Patriots to 5 in the Tigers non-league victory on Friday.
The Tigers (22-3) will now prepare for their match against Wayne (Wayne, WV). The Pioneers go into the non-league match with a 16-13 record. In their last match, Wayne tipped Mingo Central (Matewan, WV), 7-0, in a non-league match.
The Patriots (13-5) will now prepare for their match against South Charleston (South Charleston, WV). The Black Eagles go into the Mountain State match with a 13-14 record. In their last match, South Charleston tipped Capital (Charleston, WV), 3-2, in a league match.
