The High Island Cardinals baseball team (High Island, TX), was overwhelmed 17-7 in Friday's non-league outing with the host Round Top-Carmine Cubs (Carmine, TX)
The Cubs now hold a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Leakey for a non-league outing on Saturday, May 13. Round Top-Carmine will confront a Eagles team coming off a 20-0 league loss to Medina (Medina, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 2-8.
