In Friday's non-league game, the host Hurricane Redskins baseball team scored a nice 11-1 victory over the Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles.
The Redskins (15-5) will now prepare for their game against Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV). The Big Reds go into the Mountain State game with a 11-14 record. In their last game, Parkersburg was overwhelmed by Warren (Vincent, OH), 3-1, in a non-league game.
The Flying Eagles (12-14) will now prepare for their game against Oak Hill (Oak Hill, WV). The Red Devils go into the Coalfield AAA game with a 6-13 record. In their last game, Oak Hill was overwhelmed by Greenbrier West (Charmco, WV), 9-7, in a non-league game.
