Connecticut High School Baseball - Stratford loses to Pomperaug

The Pomperaug Panthers crushed the visiting Stratford Red Devils baseball team by a tally of 8-2 in Friday's league bout.

The Panthers now hold a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they host Naugatuck for a non-league bout on Saturday, May 6. Pomperaug will face a Greyhounds team coming off a 14-1 non-league win over Wilby (Waterbury, CT). The Greyhounds record now stands at 10-3.

Next, the Red Devils face the New Fairfield Rebels (New Fairfield, CT) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 8. Stratford will attempt to advance on its 2-12 season record. The Rebels enter the bout with a 8-7 record after their 13-1 non-league loss to Bethel (Bethel, CT).
