The Seneca Fighting Irish baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Sandwich Indians to 4 in the Fighting Irish non-league victory on Friday.
The Fighting Irish (14-8) will now prepare for their match against Dwight (Dwight, IL). The Trojans go into the Tri-County match with a 9-15 record. In their last match, Dwight by Coal City (Coal City, IL), 9-5, in a non-league match.
The Indians (9-13) will now prepare for their match against Kaneland (Maple Park, IL). The Knights go into the Interstate Eight match with a 14-11 record. In their last match, Kaneland tipped Fenton (Bensenville, IL), 5-4, in a non-league match.
