In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Tunkhannock Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Pocono Mountain East Cardinals.

The Tigers (13-1) will now prepare for their battle against Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 6-13 record. In their last battle, Western Wayne achieved victory over North Pocono (Covington Township, PA), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Cardinals encounter the Bethlehem Catholic Hawks (Bethlehem, PA) in a Eastern Pennsylvania battle, on Monday, May 8. Pocono Mountain East will attempt to advance on its 8-4 season record. The Hawks come into the battle with a 2-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Southern Lehigh (Center Valley, PA).
