Niles North Vikings (Skokie, IL) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Maine West Warriors (Des Plaines, IL), 4-2 in a league challenge.

Next, the Vikings confront the Leyden Eagles (Franklin Park, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, May 6. Niles North will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 1-0 league win over Crete-Monee (Crete, IL).

The Warriors now have a 0-1 record.
