The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lake Region Lakers (Naples, ME) and the host Gray-New Gloucester Patriots (Gray, ME), saw Lake Region's lacrosse team achieve victory over Gray-New Gloucester by a margin of 9-3.

The Lakers (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME). The Panthers enter the Class C challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, North Yarmouth Academy edged Morse (Bath, ME), 17-5, in a league challenge.

The Patriots (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Fryeburg (Fryeburg, ME). The Raiders enter the non-league challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Fryeburg was overwhelmed by Maranacook (Readfield, ME), 14-5, in a league challenge.
