Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting South Portland Red Riots (South Portland, ME), 15-2 in a league battle.

The Trojans now have a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kennebunk for a Class A South battle on Tuesday, May 9. Thornton Academy will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 15-1 league win over Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME). The Rams record now stands at 7-0.

In their next game, the Red Riots clash with the Bonny Eagle Scots (Standish, ME) in a Class A South battle, on Tuesday, May 9. South Portland will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Scots come into the battle with a 1-4 record after their 16-2 league loss to Marshwood (South Berwick, ME).
