The Newaygo Lions soccer team scored 4 points and limited the host Hart Pirates to 0 in the Lions non-league victory on Friday.
Next, the Lions face the Grant Tigers (Grant, MI) in a Central State contest, on Monday, May 8. Newaygo will attempt to better on its 10-0 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 2-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Ottawa Hills (Grand Rapids, MI).
The Pirates now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shelby for a Western Michigan contest on Monday, May 8.
