Virginia High School Soccer - Yorktown knocks off McLean

Yorktown Patriots (Arlington, VA) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA), 6-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Patriots confront the Langley Saxons (McLean, VA) in a Liberty challenge, on Monday, May 8. Yorktown will attempt to move on its 10-1 season record. The Saxons enter the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 2-1 league loss to Herndon (Herndon, VA).
The Highlanders now possess a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Washington-Liberty for a Liberty challenge on Wednesday, May 10.
