In Friday's league test, the visiting Canfield Cardinals lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-5 victory over the Orange Lions.
The Cardinals now have a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they host West Geauga for a Region 6 test on Tuesday, May 9. Canfield will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Chardon (Chardon, OH). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-10.
In their next game, the Lions face the GlenOak Golden Eagles (Canton, OH) in a non-league test, on Saturday, May 6. Orange will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the test with a 5-10 record after their 11-7 non-league win over Poland Seminary (Poland, OH).
