Middle Park Panthers (Granby, CO) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their lacrosse team tip the host Crested Butte Titans (Crested Butte, CO), 5-4 in a non-league game.
The Panthers (9-5) will now prepare for their game against Montrose (Montrose, CO). The Red Hawks go into the non-league game with a 1-11 record. In their last game, Montrose was tipped by Eagle Valley (Gypsum, CO), 17-8, in a non-league game.
The Titans (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Dawson School (Lafayette, CO). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 9-5 record. In their last game, Dawson School edged Resurrection Christian (Loveland, CO), 14-9, in a league game.
