Bryan Station Defenders (Lexington, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Bethlehem Eagles/Banshees (Bardstown, KY), 12-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Defenders now own a 14-8 record. They take the field next when they host Estill County for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 8. Bryan Station will face a Engineers squad coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to Madison Central (Richmond, KY). The Engineers record now stands at 15-11.

With the loss, Bethlehem falls to 18-9 on the campaign. The Eagles/banshees host Green County (Greensburg, KY) to face the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 8. The Dragons enter the challenge with a record of 15-12. Green County won 6-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY)
