Cascade Cadets (Clayton, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Danville Warriors (Danville, IN), 14-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Cadets now own a 14-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Plainfield for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 8. Cascade will battle a Quakers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Brownsburg (Brownsburg, IN). The Quakers record now stands at 12-7.

With the loss, Danville falls to 12-4 on the campaign. The Warriors host Tri-West Hendricks (Lizton, IN) to battle the Bruins in a Sagamore challenge on Tuesday, May 9. The Bruins enter the challenge with a record of 15-4.
