Chugiak Mustangs (Chugiak, AK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Homer Mariners (Homer, AK), 10-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Mustangs now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Varsity Opponent for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 6. Chugiak will battle a squad coming off a 9-7 league loss to South Bronx Community (Bronx, NY). The record now stands at 19-49.
